The first of what will hopefully be several volumes set in the same shared world. Animal people are plentiful, basic needs are met with magic and Adventurers run around solving slightly more problems than they cause!

Rather than a single narrative, this book is more of an anthology of closely related stories. Each chapter builds on the others, but they focus on telling their individual stories first.

This volume focuses on just two Adventurers, Charlotte the Orc ex soldier who recently took up adventuring and Bridgette the Corvid who became the apprentice to an adventurer at a young age. We'll see them grow into splendid adventurers and learn how they met some of their adoptive families.
